Soulful Pilates welcomes people of all fitness levels to our Haight-Ashbury studio. Pilates With A Personal Touch
With the Pilates studio being located in the Haight-Ashbury district. Our small studio creates a perfect intimate space for one-on-one classes and fun social group classes. Our group classes offer a judgement-free environment where everyone is encouraged to participate and focus on helping each other all benefit fully from the lessons. Our instructors have years of experience and the small classes allow them to give extra attention to each student.

Receive individualized attention from one of our highly trained instructors while working with certified Balanced Body Pilates equipment. If you are just getting started with learning Pilates or an experienced veteran, private lessons are guaranteed to take your practice to the next level. Our instructors are caring and knowledgeable in all aspects of Pilates techniques. They understand that for those who are injured or working with other physical limitations, your private lesson will need to be tailored to your body’s specific needs and abilities. Private lessons are also a great way to prepare for a beginning apparatus class or to get strong enough to advance to the next level in your journey through Pilates.
More Benefits of Pilates
- More conventional or traditional workouts are weight bearing and tend to build short, bulky muscles – the type most prone to injury. Pilates elongates and strengthens, improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility. A body with balanced strength and flexibility is less likely to be injured.
- Some research has also linked Pilates to better flexibility, trunk stability, injury prevention and athletic performance. (Some former and current NFL players, including Antonio Brown and Martellus Bennett, are fans.)
